Cork was very doggy so I was a bit worried about this wine. Maybe it was out of condition (and maybe it is). Pulled out of my cellar (in fact an old coal storage place under my house) and there is snow outside so the bottle is pretty chilled so of course nothing is coming out of that glass.
Iron / blood nose to begin. Stewed and ripe fruits. Quite a hit of alcohol. Lets wait. 30 minutes later, the wine is gaining volume in the glass. Developing a lot of complexity. Perhaps a little too ripe for me but still very delicious.
